Hello, and welcome to my little corner on DeviantArt!

My two greatest loves are horses and art -- art in all its forms and horses in all their diverse colours, shapes and sizes. I live to learn, and always look for opportunities to help me grow not only as a person but as an artist as well.

I enjoy working in a variety of media, although graphite, watercolours and acrylics have proven to be my favourites. And while I do paint other animals sometimes, as anyone can see horses are my main subjects. I love depicting them at liberty, and it fascinates me that even though we domesticated horses for use, it is the archetypal image of a horse galloping free that captivates our imagination most profoundly. My artwork is a celebration of these beautiful and often misunderstood creatures, whose history is tightly intertwined with ours.

When I'm not arting, I teach English, write, and enjoy spending time with my guinea pigs, Pea and Flo.
